Yusuf Pathan Personal Life
As earlier said he was born in Gujarat to a Gujarati Pathan family. Yusuf is the elder brother of Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan.
He also did philanthropic work during COVID-19 pandemic with distributing the masks. He married Mumbai-based physiotherapist, Afreen.
They have a son together and he had been assisting “YAIF” and its mission “Youth Against Rape”.

After the amazing show at the 2007 season of Deodhar Trophy and then at the Inter-State Domestic Twenty20 competition held in 2007 April, he was selected as part of the Indian team for the inaugural 20-20 World Championship, held in South Africa in September 2007.
Yusuf made his debut at the T20 World Cup at the final match against Pakistan, where he opened the batting and made fifteen runs in the procedure.
After the interesting domestic season 2007-2008, he was signed up through the Rajasthan Royals, the franchise with Rajasthan for Indian Premier League. He played some good knocks at IPL and as the output got selected to the national team.

In the final match of Duleep Trophy 2010, he scored a brilliant hundred in first innings and a double hundred in the second innings and provided guidance to his team, West Zone to a glorious victory.
On March 13th, 2010, he scored a century off 37 balls in an Indian Premier league match against Mumbai Indians. The innings also involved recording eleven consecutive hits to the boundary.
