PSPCL AE Recruitment 2024

PSPCL invites online applications from candidates who meet the eligibility requirements for the assistant Engineer/OT post in the Electrical Engineering discipline. It’s an amazing opportunity for the candidates to work at PSPCL, a government-owned corporation that plays a vital role in power supply. 

According to the notification, the corporation wishes to fill 100 posts of Assistant Engineer/OT, out of which 24 posts are reserved for women. The selection of the candidates will be based on the GATE-2024 (EE) marks, age, qualification, etc. The selected candidates may undergo a technical training institute before their joining. The probation period for the AE is 3 years as per the Punjab government rules. The selected candidates will receive a minimum pay of ₹47,600 per month as AE/OT (Electrical).

PSPCL AE Eligibility Criteria 2024

Candidates can check their eligibility criteria for the Assistant Engineering post from the below eligibility criteria:

Age Limit:

• Applicants age should be between 18 years and 37 years on 01 January 2024. 
• The upper age is relaxed for 5 years (SC and BC), 10 years (PH), minus the service period for Ex-servicemen, and for 3 years for Women/widows/ wolves of military personnel.

Educational Qualification:

• Candidates should have completed their regular BE/ B.Tech/ B.SC Engineering in Electrical & Electronics with minimum marks of 55% or equivalent degree from AICTE or AMIE-recognized institutes.
• Candidates must have studied and passed Punjabi in class 10 or its equivalent level of examination.
• Candidates must have scored more than the following cut-off marks of GATE-2024 applicable as per their category:

Candidates can apply for the PSPCL AE/OT (Electrical) 2024 recruitment 2024 by following steps:

• You should visit the official website of PSPCL at
• Next, scroll down to the Recruitment tab and click the tab.
• On the next page, click the Assistant Engineer/OT (Electrical) apply link. 
• Next, select CRA and click New Registration (for first-time users) or Registered Candidates (already registered candidates).
• The new registrants should enter the post name, GATE-2024 registration number, and DOB. Next, they should fill in other details asked for the registration and complete the OTP verification.
• After the verification, on the next page, fill in all the details, such as educational qualification, category, etc. 
• Next, upload the photo and signature, the signature must be on white paper with black ink only.
• Next, deposit the non-refundable application fee before the last date of the fee deposit, 19 September 2024 through the payment link. 
• After the successful payment, you must take the printout of the receipt and submit the application form for PSPCL AE 2024 recruitment.
• You must save or take the printout of the submitted application form of the PSPCL AE/OT 2024 for future purposes.
