Odisha ZP Recruitment 2024

The Odisha ZP invites applications from eligible candidates for Gram Rozgar Sewak (GRS) under the MNREGA scheme in different gram panchayats of districts – Balasore, Nuapada, Nayagarh, Koraput, Boudh, Keonjhar, Malkanagri, and Ganjam on a contractual basis.

The contract period for the selected candidates will be one year, which can be extended depending on the candidate’s performance. According to the official notification, the application dates for the GRS post vary depending on the districts, however, the application is open for all the districts.

The selection of the candidates will be district-wise merit-based on 10+2 examination marks. The selected candidates will receive a monthly pay of ₹7000 working as GRS which can be hiked to ₹8500 when candidates successfully work for one year but less than 6 years.

Citizenship:

• Applicants should be Indian nationals and residents of the same district he/she is applying.

Age Limit:

• Applicants must have attained 18 years of age to apply for the post, the upper age limit is 40 years on 01 August 2024.
• The upper age is relaxed for 5 years (SC/ST/SEBC/Women), and 10 years (PwD), and the service period of Ex-servicemen will be deducted to count their age.

Educational Qualification:

• The minimum qualification required for the GRS applications is a 10+2 pass or equivalent course from a recognized board/institute.
• Applicants should be proficient in computers of O level and should be able to write, speak, and read Odia fluently.
