Ch. 2. The Raven and the Fox
In the story, the fox preaches moral principles to the raven instead of just running away with the morsel because it was easy to fool the crow with not so appealing beauty. Fox asked him to sing a song for him as he is handsome. The crow was flattered by the fox’s lies because no one called him handsome before.
Ch. 3. Rama to the Rescue
A thief observed an Old Man counting his money one day. The thief planned to steal his money by making an excuse. The Thief chose to deceive the Old Man and steal his money. The Thief yelled angrily at the Old Man, “Why are you stealing fruit from my orchard?” “You’ve got to be mistaken,” the Old Man remarked. “Why should I steal from your orchard if I don’t like fruits?”
“0h, stop!” yelled the Thief. Then he paused for a moment and exclaimed, “Ah! Last year, you gossiped about me to your neighbour.”
“No! That cannot be right. “I didn’t live in this house last year,” the Old Man replied. “Well, if it wasn’t you, it had to have been your brother? exclaimed the Thief. “It couldn’t have been, because my brother died two years ago,” the Old Man replied.
“Never mind, I know it was definitely an Old Man like you, and I will no longer accept excuses,” the Thief said. Then he snatched the Old Man’s money and fled with it.
Ch. 4. The Unlikely Best Friends
A lion was fast asleep in the jungle when a mouse started running all over him. The lion was angry that the mouse disturbed its sleep and was about to kill it with its paw. The mouse begged the lion to pardon it, saying it could be of help to it one day. The lion laughed at that thought and walked away. Soon after that, the lion was trapped in a hunter’s net. The little mouse was passing by and saw the lion. It immediately tore the net with its sharp teeth and rescued the lion.

Ch. 6. The Chair
Friendship is a bond between two or more people. These people are called friends. Friends need each other for fun and help. Without friendship, life would be lonely and sad. Friendship is like happiness gifted to us by God. We can share so many things with friends. We can share joy, sorrow, and your feelings. Just being with friends feels so good.
Friends support you and give you advice. Friends will always be there for you in need. You can trust them and have faith in them. They never judge you or put you down. If a friendship is a garden, friends are flowers. Together they make your life smell like flowers. We must always hold onto friendship and friends.
Ch. 7. Neem Baba
One day after a long journey, two travellers sat under a peepal tree to take rest. They slept under the tree and enjoyed the soft breeze and cool shade.
After waking up, one of the travellers became hungry. They were out of food so he looked up at the tree to find if it had any fruit. When he did not find fruit, he started cursing the tree that it is useless and has nothing to feed them. The other traveller told him to stay cool and comforted him but the hungry man continued cursing the tree.
The tree was listening to the harsh words of the traveller but could not tolerate the cursing words any longer. It said, “You are very ungrateful to me. When you reached here in an exhausted condition in the hot and dry sun, I provided you with a cool and comfortable place to rest and sleep under a cool shade. I saved your life from the hot sun, but you humiliate me with cursing words!” The traveller who was cursing the tree immediately realised his mistake and apologised to the tree.

“Mother, let me fly away.”

They also use the oils of spice plants to make perfumes, cosmetics, toiletries, and toothpastes. Spices have played an important role in world history. The search for spices led many explorers to discover new lands.
In ancient times people used spices in medicines and skin creams. They used them in religious ceremonies, too. Sometimes people used spices to keep foods from spoiling. They also used spices to hide the bad flavor of meats that had already spoiled.

The Indian Premier League, popularly known as IPL, is a professional Twenty20 cricket league in India that was founded in 2008 by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
The inaugural season of the IPL was held in 2008, with eight teams representing different cities in India. The first IPL match was played on April 18, 2008, between Kolkata Knight Riders, and Royal Challengers Bangalore at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. The league has expanded and now has 10 teams. The tournament is played over a period of approximately two months. In 2013, the league was hit by a match-fixing scandal that suspended several players and team officials. The BCCI has since taken measures to tighten its control over the league and prevent any further such incidents. Despite the challenges, the IPL remains one of the world’s most watched and celebrated cricket leagues.

Dal Bati Churma is a traditional, tasty meal made as a combo of savoury dal, deep fried wheat dough (bati) and crumbled, sweetened & flavoured bati (churma). It is a traditional Rajasthani delicacy recipe made from dal, bati or wheat rolls and churma which is powdered wheat ball. The state of Gujarat situated in western part of India is famous for Kutch and Kathiawar embroidery. It has given its great contribution to Indian embroidery. Beauty lies in variety of motifs, stitches and rich designs. Village women in their leisure time after harvesting used to embroider their daughter’s beautiful costumes.
