The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell released the provisional merit list on 03 August 2024 for technical undergraduate courses in Engineering & Technology, the candidates now await the final merit list and round 1 seat allotment result.
MHT CET CAP Round 1 Seat Allotment 2024
The annual Maharashtra CET exam was conducted between 22 April 2024 and 17 May 2024 for various undergraduate courses admission available at the State colleges in the academic year 2024-25. The authority declared the MHT CET 2024 on 16 June 2024 and started the admission counseling for the B.Tech and integrated 5-year course Masters of Engineering & Technology from 14 July 2024.
The candidates who have registered for the MHT CET 2024 CAP for admission to technical courses in Engineering & Technology await the seat allotment result. However, they can first download the provisional merit list as the authority published the merit list on 03 August 2024.
The authority has not updated the Round 1 seat allotment result date. However, after the final merit release on 08 August 2024, the candidates can expect the MHT CET CAP Round 1 seat allotment result by the end of August 2024.

MHT CET CAP Merit List 2024
As mentioned earlier, the MHT CET 2024 provisional merit list is published on the official website for the PCM group as well as the PCM/PCB group only for Schedule IV under all categories.
The candidates who find any mistake in the provisional merit list can raise grievances against the published provisional merit list till 06 August 2024 on the official website by logging into their MHT CET 2024 account. The authority will review the raised grievances, rectify the mistake of validating the raised issue, and finally release the final merit list on 08 August 2024.
After the final merit list, the candidates have to submit the online choice form of CAP round 1 before the to-be-announced dates through the Candidate’s Login on the State CET portal. Based on the choice form preferences in colleges and candidates’ merit, the authority will publish the Round 1 Seat allotment result.

- Click the MHT CET 2024 CAP Round 1 Seat allotment result link and enter your MHT CET login credentials.
- After you submit the details, your Round 1 Seat allotment result will appear on your screen.
- You can save the seat allotment result for use in the admission process of the B.E./ B.Tech and integrated 5-year course in the participating colleges.
What’s next after the MHT CET CAP Round 1 Seat Allotment Result 2024?
The MHT CET CAP 2024 counseling will usually be completed in three rounds, the candidates who participated in the CAP Round 1 get the seat based on their merit, college preferences, and seat availability.
After the round seat allotment result, the candidates can accept the seat, reject the seat & move to the next round, or reject the seat. Candidates who accept the allotted seats in the CAP round 1 must download the seat allotment letter from the website and report to the allotted institute.
