The Medical Health Services Recruitment Board, Telangana has disclosed the number of vacancies for the position of Pharmacist Grade-II. There are a total number of 633 positions, out of which, 446 are under the DME, 185 under the Telangana Vaidya Vidhana Parishad and only 2 under the MNJ Institute of Oncology and Regional Cancer Centre.
MHSRB Telangana Pharmacist Eligibility Criteria 2024
To apply for recruitment of Pharmacist Grade-II in Telangana, the eligibility criteria are available below in terms of educational qualification and age limit.
- Educational Qualification:
- A candidate must have pursued Diploma in Pharmacy, Bachelor of Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy.
- Additionally, the candidate must have a permanent registration certificate with the Telangana Pharmacy Council.
- Age Limit:
- An individual’s age shouldn’t be below 18 years and above 46 years as of July 1, 2024.
- There is a provision of upper age relaxation for 5 years for BCs, EWS, SC and ST candidates.
MHSRB Telangana Pharmacist Application & Exam Fee 2024
To apply for recruitment of Pharmacist Grade-II under the Director of Medical Education, TVvp and MNJ Institute of Oncology and Regional Cancer Centre, a candidate is required to pay the application and exam fee, whose details are available below.
- Exam Fee:
- Amount: Rs. 500 (Rupees Five Hundred Only)
- Exemption: No exemption available, all category candidates are required to pay this amount.
- Application Fee:
- Amount: Rs. 200 (Rupees Two Hundred Only)

MHSRB Telangana Pharmacist Selection Process 2024
The selection process for recruitment of Pharmacist Grade-II consists of two stages, which are Written Exam and Document Verification. Aspirants may check the details regarding it by going through the listed points.
- Written Exam:
- The written exam will be administered in the CBT mode, in which a total number of 80 MCQs of each 1 mark will be deducted.

- Document Verification:
- Candidates who will pass the Written Exam will be eligible to participate in the Document Verification, where one has to carry all required documents including past working experiences.
- It is estimated that it will be administered within four weeks after the announcement of the result for the Written Exam.
Note: The final selection is going to be done on the basis of 80 marks (points) of Written Exam, and 20 marks (points) of Service Experience, details for which is available below.
- Points Allocation:
- Service in Tribal Areas: 2.5 Points for every 6 months of service.
- Service in Non-Tribal Areas: 2 Points for every 6 months of service.
- Eligibility: Points awarded only for completed 6-month periods.
