Date for the written exam for the post of Assistant Director – I (Forest Protection Force) is announced officially by the JKPSC, it will be administered from 28 to 30 April 2024. Candidates who applied to take part in the exam must have to report at the respective test centre on the exam day before gate closing time, because after that not a single individual will be allowed inside.

Exam for the post of Assistant Director – I (FPF) will be held by the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission in offline mode. In the first stage of the selection process, there will be a total number of four papers, to touch the maximum number of essay type questions, each individual will have an exam time duration of 03 hours i.e. 180 minutes.

Descriptive type questions will be asked in Paper I, II, III and IV from General English, Essay writing in English, General Knowledge and Botany, Silviculture, or Field Crop Production respectively. Candidates need to know that the first two papers each carry a weightage of 100 marks, and the last two carry 200 marks i.e. the total weightage of written exam will be 600 marks.
