IOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2024
IOCL invites online applications from eligible candidates for Technician, Graduate, and Trade Apprentice (Technical and Non-Technical) in Southern states of India, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Karnataka, Puducherry, and Kerala.
According to the notification, the corporation plans to hire 400 apprentices for the 2024-25 Apprenticeship program. The candidates can apply online for the apprenticeship as the application window is open from 02 August 2024 to 19 August 2024 at 11:55 PM.
The authority will conduct an Objective Type MCQ Online test and the selection of the candidates will be based on the marks obtained in the online test and the eligibility requirements. The online test date and timing will be notified soon via the official website, so candidates should visit the official website regularly.

IOCL Apprentice Eligibility Criteria 2024
Candidates interested in the IOCL Apprentice recruitment drive can check their eligibility to apply from the below eligibility criteria:
Age Limit:
- The minimum age to apply is 18 years and the maximum is 24 years on 31 July 2024.
- The upper age is relaxed for SC/ST (5 years), OBC-NCL (3 years), and Pw BD (10 years).
Educational Qualification:
- For Trade Apprentice, applicants must have completed their matric with regular 2-year ITI in the respective discipline courses from a recognized SCVT/NCVT.
- For Technician Apprentice, applicants must have done a 3-year regular full-time Diploma in the respective discipline with a minimum of 50% marks for General, OBC-NCL, and EWS and 45% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates from a recognized institute.
- For Graduate Apprentices, applicants must have done the graduation (BA/BBA/B.Sc/ B.Com) with 50% minimum marks for General, OBC-NCL, and EWS and 45% marks for SC/ST/PwBD candidates from a recognized University/ institution.
Exclusions:
- Candidates with high qualifications such as MBA, LLB, BE, or equivalent are not eligible for the post.
- Candidates who qualified from long-distance learning mode are not eligible for the post.
- Candidates who have undergone apprentice training or are part of any apprenticeship program are not eligible.

Candidates who wish to apply for the IOCL Apprentice should prepare the following documents scanned & self-attested copies before the application:
- Signature in black ink
- Educational Certificate from matriculation to intermediate
- Recent passport-size photograph
- ITI certificate/ Diploma/ Graduation degree in the respective discipline
- Caste certificate (if applicable)
- Caste validity Certificate (for Maharashtra candidates only)
- PAN Card
- EWS certificate (if applicable)

- Next, click the Apprenticeships and look for 400 Trade/ Technician/ Graduate Apprentice notifications, click the apply link.
- Next, click the New Registration and enter your basic info such as Name, gender, nationality, email ID, mobile number, etc.
- Next, register on the IOCL website to receive your Login credential on your email address.
- Next, log on to the IOCL portal, access the application form, and enter the required details.
- Next, upload the mandatory scanned and properly visible documents on the website.
- After you upload the documents, you will receive an acknowledgment message of completing the IOCL apprentice application, remember to save or download the submitted form for future use.
