Canara Bank invites online applications from eligible candidates for the apprentice post across different branches of Canara banks in India. According to the notification, the Bank plans to fill 3000 training seats through this recruitment drive.

The candidates are required to complete their registration on the NATS Apprenticeship portal before applying for the Canara Apprentice Recruitment, your profile on the NATS portal should be updated with valid information.

Canara Bank Apprentice Eligibility Criteria 2024

Candidates can check their eligibility to apply for the Canara Bank Apprentice Recruitment 2024 below:

Citizenship:

• Applicants must be an Indian Citizen or Tibetan Refugee/ subject or Bhutan or Nepal/ an Indian origin person who migrated to India from foreign countries like Burma, Pakistan, Zambia, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Ethiopia, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, Malawi, Zaire, and Tanzania. 
• The non-citizens must present the certificate issued by the GOI in favor of their eligibility.    

Age Limit:

• The minimum age for applicants to apply is 20 years, whereas the maximum age is 28 years on the cut-off date of 01 Sep 2024. 
• The upper age is relaxed for SC/ST by 5 years, OBC by 3 years, PwBD by 10 years, 1984 riots affected persons by 5 years, and women, Divorced women have age relaxation till 35 years. 

Educational Qualification:

• Applicants should have a graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification from a government-recognized institute.
• Applicants should have the local language knowledge from the state they are applying for. 

Canara Bank Apprentice 2024 Stipend

The candidates will receive a monthly stipend of ₹15,000 as an apprentice including the government subsidy during the one period of apprenticeship. The apprentice post is not subject to any allowances. 

In the Apprentice stipend, the Canara Bank contributes to pay ₹10,500 and the government contributes ₹4500, which will be directly credited to the candidate’s accounts.

Canara Bank Apprentice Selection Process 2024

The recruiting committee of the Canara Bank will select the candidates for Apprentice 2024-25 seats through the following selection criteria:

• The recruiting committee will screen the applications and prepare a state-wise merit list of the candidates depending on their 12th/graduation/Diploma examination marks. 
• The merit list will be prepared based on the education information candidates provided in the application, so make sure you enter your qualifications carefully. 
• The shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification and a local language test. The candidates will have to present the original documents of the details mentioned in the application. The local language test will be based on the State and it is mandatory to qualify for the local language test.
