Suitable only for minority community students, this scholarship gives financial support of up to Rs. 8000 per month depending on the program or level of education you are seeking. This scholarship is distributed to students regarding their academic advantage and financial need.

Bigyani Kanya Medha Britti Scholarship, West Bengal: This scholarship is mainly intended for girl students who have qualified for class 12th from any board and are currently seeking an undergraduate degree course in Basic Science/Medicine/Engineering at any institute of West Bengal. The purpose of this plan is to support girls’ higher education and maintain their scientific ability. The girl students staying in West Bengal are qualified to apply for this scholarship. The chosen students will get a whole of INR 3000 per month. In addition to this, the award also includes an annual book grant of INR 2000.

West Bengal Post-Matric Scholarship for SC/ST/OBC: Working under the Backward Classes Welfare Department, this scholarship for West Bengal students works to give financial support to SC/ST/OBC students studying at post-matriculation or post-secondary level to empower them to achieve their education. Students of class 11th, 12th, graduation, and post-graduation are qualified for this scholarship. The amount of scholarship that you can get under this plan may range from INR 160 to INR 1200.

West Bengal Pre-Matric Scholarship for SC ST Students: Performed by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India and administered by the Backward Classes Welfare Department, Government of West Bengal, this is a centrally sponsored Pre-Matric Scholarship Scheme for SC and ST scholars studying in class 9th and 10th. The scholarship allows variable financial support ranging from INR 150 per month to INR 750 per month. Also, the chosen scholars get an additional Adhoc reward of up to INR 1000 per annum.

Hindi Scholarship Scheme, West Bengal: To support and assist the study of Hindi language in Non-Hindi speaking states like West Bengal, this scholarship gives financial support to students studying in higher secondary, undergraduate, postgraduate and research level courses (M.Phil., Ph.D. or M Lit. etc). Though every scholarship has its set of pre-defined eligibility requirements, the critical condition to be qualified for West Bengal scholarships is that the candidate should be a permanent citizen of West Bengal state or be a domicile of the place.   • Candidate must be a domicile of West Bengal.
  • If studying at the higher secondary level or diploma, the candidate must have secured at least 75% marks in class 10th.
  • If studying at the undergraduate level, the candidate must have secured at least 75% marks in class 12th.

West Bengal Post-Matric Scholarship for SC/ST/OBC

Hindi Scholarship Scheme, West Bengal

Aikyashree Scholarship 2023 Apply Online

Step – 1: Student Registration

  • Visit the official website of Aikyashree Scholarship @ 
  • Click on the New Registration or Student Registration.
  • Now fill the student registration form by providing your name, District, Guardians Name, DOB, Mobile Number, Email id and Bank Account Number.
  • Now click on Submit and Procced.

Step – 2: Scheme Eligibility

Now students need to submit details like enter your Current Institution Name, Address, Percentage of Marks obtained in the Last Examination, Annual Family Income. Now click on submit.

Step – 3: Registration

After submitting all this information now students get the scholarship name for which you are eligible. students will get a Temporary user ID for your application. Students will get User ID and Password to their mail id.
